My first visit to Selong Belanak Beach turned out to be one of the most relaxing moments of my trip to Lombok.
When I arrived, the beach immediately caught my attention with its wide stretch of soft sand, calm turquoise water, and lush green hills surrounding the bay. The scenery was simple yet incredibly beautiful, making it easy to understand why this beach is one of Lombok’s favorites.
What I enjoyed the most was how peaceful it felt. Even though there were other visitors, it never felt crowded. There was plenty of space to walk along the shoreline, watch the gentle waves, and simply enjoy the fresh sea breeze.
Traditional fishing boats rested along the beach while more boats floated quietly across the bay, creating a picture-perfect coastal landscape. It was one of those places where you don’t need a busy itinerary—you can simply sit back, take in the view, and appreciate the beauty around you.
Selong Belanak isn’t just a beach for surfing or swimming; it’s also a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy Lombok’s natural charm. Sometimes, the best part of traveling is finding a destination that lets you do absolutely nothing, except admire the view.
It was my first time here, and I would happily come back again.
