For tonight’s dinner, we chose Sushi Ya! and it turned out to be the perfect choice. If you’re craving Japanese food that’s delicious, halal, and budget-friendly, this place never disappoints.

During this visit, a few menu items really stood out. The salmon sashimi was fresh, soft, and literally melted in the mouth. But my absolute favorites were the salmon head and the hot chicken ramen.

The salmon head, especially the teriyaki version, is definitely a must-try. It’s glazed with a rich, well-balanced teriyaki sauce that seeps perfectly into the fish, making every bite flavorful. The meat is tender and juicy, with a slightly caramelized finish that adds a delicious savory-sweet touch, especially enjoyable when served warm.

For salmon head lovers, Sushi Ya! also offers several variations to choose from, including Teriyaki, Shioyaki, and Batayaki. Each style has its own unique flavor: teriyaki for a sweet-savory glaze, shioyaki for a lighter salted taste, and batayaki for a rich buttery finish, so you can pick based on your preference.

Meanwhile, the hot chicken ramen is perfect if you’re in the mood for something warm and comforting. The broth is spicy yet savory, with generous chicken toppings and chewy noodles. The spice level is just right, not overwhelming, but still gives that satisfying kick.

This combination of dishes works really well for dinner, from something light like sashimi to something filling like ramen.

One of the biggest highlights of Sushi Ya is definitely the price. Sushi starts from just Rp 3K for basic maki, Rp 6K – 9K for nigiri, and around Rp 12K for more premium options. Rolls like California Roll or Chicken Katsu Roll range between Rp 18K – Rp 28K, while salmon sashimi starts from about Rp 15K. With prices like these, you can enjoy a full meal without worrying about your budget.

The atmosphere is also relaxed and cozy, simple, but comfortable enough for a casual dinner, whether you’re dining alone or with friends and family.

Most importantly, the food is halal, so you can enjoy everything with peace of mind.

Overall, Sushi Ya! is a great spot for dinner, delicious, affordable, halal, and satisfying. Definitely worth a visit!

If you’re not sure where to go for dinner, Sushi Ya! is a choice you won’t regret.
