Two days ago, I had such an exciting experience watching the pre-season match between Chelsea and AC Milan at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.

I was sitting in the Chelsea supporters’ section, and the atmosphere was amazing. Even though it was only a pre-season match, the excitement among the fans was incredible.
Watching a big European club live is definitely a different experience from watching football on TV. Being there in the stadium, surrounded by thousands of passionate supporters, made the whole experience even more special.

One of the most exciting moments was seeing Cole Palmer from quite close. He was inside the team bus, but when the bus passed by the supporters, he started knocking on the window and waving to the fans outside.

It was such a simple gesture, but it was really fun to see. Moments like that make watching a football match in person even more memorable.
And seeing Chelsea finish the match with a 3–0 victory made the night even better. Watching your team win while being surrounded by fellow supporters is definitely something special.
It also made me think: if watching a pre-season match like this in Jakarta was already this exciting, imagine watching a Premier League match live in England during the actual season!

The atmosphere must be incredible—seeing the players on their home ground, hearing the fans singing, and experiencing the energy of European football firsthand.
For now, I’m happy that I got to experience Chelsea vs AC Milan at GBK, with Chelsea taking a convincing 3–0 win. But hopefully, one day I can take it a step further and watch Chelsea play live in England—and maybe even watch AC Milan play in Milan too.
InshaAllah, one day!
Until then, I’ll keep this as one of my favorite football memories. Haha!
